Mexican Restaurant
Commerical Design Course - 2016
Stephanie plans to open up her very first full service restaurant – by herself. Although nervous about doing most of the work herself and financing, she is excited to hit the ground running on this new restaurant. She has found the perfect location, downtown Los Angeles. Her target market is going to be both families looking for a good meal out and couples going on dates. While it is more upscale than other Mexican restaurants, Rodriquez Taqueria will have prices that will still be affordable.
Stephanie’s new restaurant is going to be Mexican themed, as a nod her Mexican heritage. However, she does not want to open up a typical Mexican restaurant. She wants to create an upscale Mexican restaurant that not only families can come to, but also couples on a date night and want a nicer, upper scale restaurant.
Although Stephanie will be serving traditional Mexican food, she is putting her own twist on each dish. For example, instead of just meat, cheese and beans in a burrito, she will be serving meat cooked with jalapeños, queso fresco, refried beans, topped with tomatoes and cilantro.
