Tamara Miller (27 years old) and Kelly Jones (25 years old) are from the small town Benton Harbor in Southern Michigan. They met at the University of Michigan where Tamara was graduating with a degree in Film and Film Studies and Kelly was studying Business. This long-term (5 years) African-American couple has been living together for the last three years in a small apartment with their puppy and kitten.

Eventually it became too small with their little family and the film industry is better in LA, so they decided to move. They were able to afford this apartment because of the previous 2-indie films that Tamara had directed and she has gotten the opportunity to direct a major motion picture within the next year. Tamara and Kelly plan to get married within the next year and to adopt children in the future.
